Extended Day Program Head
Corey was born in Utah but spent her early childhood living in Southern California. At age 5 her family moved back to Utah to be near their family and the mountains. Growing up she was always creating things- skits with paper bag costumes, elaborate environments for her friends' barbies or her little brother's match box cars… She liked building things and fixing things. This is still the case. Corey received her BFA in Sculpture Intermedia from the University of Utah. She believes that art, in any form, is a necessity in the education of children and she is excited to be a part of the Montessori Community School. In Corey’s spare time she enjoys going through the garbage piles in front of people’s houses to find old wood and secret treasures.
